    • What is the selection process for the GPSC DSO & Mamlatdar post? 
      The Gujarat Public service Commission has announced the 412 Vacancy positions for the Deputy Section Officer (DSO) and Deputy Mamlatdar who will be posted in the Secretariate Departments, GPSC, Gujarat Legislature, Secretarial & Revenue Department after appointment in the service.

      The DSO and Mamlatdar Vacancy can be a good alternative for those who can't make into the GPSC Civil & Administrative examination as the difficulty level of the selection procedure are not at par with that of Gujarat Service Commission Civil exam.

      The Deputy Section Officer and Mamlatdar Post, the applicants have to appear in the 2 tier examination which is to be conducted by the GPSC.
    • Preliminary Examination : The preliminary exam will have a single question paper of General Studies of 200 Marks for which 2 Hours time will be available. This is qualifying in nature and marks won't be counted in the final selection.

    • Final Selection : 
      The Gujarat Public Service Commission Deputy Section Officer and Mamlatdar post final selection will be based on the marks obtained by individual candidates in the main examination. A category wise final merit list will be available on the GPSC official website. There is no personal interview for the post.
